Majority of Americans disagree with Trump on Muslim ban
Trump was scheduled to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on December 28 in Jerusalem, an Israeli official confirmed to ABC News on Wednesday. Those voters are divided nearly evenly: 38% support Trump’s proposal, while 39% oppose it.

Real-estate tycoon Donald Trump is leading the race to become the Republican nominee for president when Americans go to the polls in November next year.
Saying he “rejected” Trump’s remarks, Netanyahu in his statement described militant Islam as a threat faced by people of all faiths.
Trump also told Lemon, “I am the least racist person that you have ever met”, and he confidently predicted that will win both the Hispanic and African-American vote.
“It’s easy and partially correct to look at the support for Donald Trump and say this is just about racism and xenophobia”, he said.
A new Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Friday found that Trump’s latest comments haven’t hurt his standing in the polls, and he leads with 35 percent. But cozying up to the GOP front-runner risks is fraught with risks, particularly after his controversial calls to bar Muslims from entering the US and comments to a Jewish group that some said bordered on anti-Semitic.
It’s a stark contrast with the 75% of Democrats and 55% of independents who oppose Trump’s call to ban Muslims from entering the United States.
A YouGov poll published today found 25% of Britons thought Trump’s idea was “appropriate”. “Why can’t we stop them, ‘” said Newman.
According to a national Reuters/Ipsos poll, 41 per cent of Republican voters were more concerned that Mr Trumps “bluntness” could damage his election chances.

The firm, DAMAC Properties, initially said it would stand by Trump, even as another of the billionaire’s Middle East partners, the Lifestyle chain of department stores, halted sales of his “Trump Home” line of lamps, mirrors and jewellery boxes in protest. “Those who are radicalised, it’s a different issue; we tackle them separately”.
