Maksim Chmerkovskiy has nothing nice to say about his former Dancing With the Stars partner Hope Solo, who he was partnered with during season 13 in September 2011.

Maksim was referring to the soccer star’s 2012 book Solo: A Memoir of Hope which included the claim that the professional dancer slapped her during rehearsals.
But moments ago, Maksim fired back on “Allegedly” – a podcast hosted by Theo Von and Matthew Cole Weiss – in which he denies the allegations and rips into the Team U.S. soccer star.
“He manhandled me in rehearsals from the start, pushing me, whacking my stomach, bending my arms roughly”, she wrote. Either he’s not looking forward to any more of these or he’s got a greenlight from producers to speak his mind, because he’s dishing the dirt on the popular show in a new podcast. “One day, Maks was trying to put me in a certain position and hit my stomach so hard with his open palm that I had a red handprint there for the rest of the day”. “Willa Ford, we dated for a while”.
When the show’s hosts reminded Chmerkovskiy that his brother Val is still on the series he quipped, “it’s his problem”.
“She’s just a sh**ty person”, Maksim says. He also bashed repeatedly Abby Lee Miller, who has served as a guest judge on the show in the past.
“I just want to be on the record”.
