Malala celebrates string of As in GCSEs

Last year, she was became the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, for her education activism.

Edgbaston high school recorded a GCSE pass rate of 98.3 percent this year.

Malala, who was 15 at the time, was shot at three times.

According to the Express Tribune, the Nobel laureate’s father tweeted her result, showing that she has scored six A*s and four As in her O-level examinations. Malala recuperated fast after receiving specialist treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Several Pakistanis congratulated the proud father on his daughter’s achievement.

Ziaududdin was appointed education attaché at the Pakistan Consulate in Birmingham.

She has survived being shot in the head by the Taliban and won a Nobel Peace Prize all before turning 18.

Malala has refused to attend hundreds of speaking engagements and interviews saying her priority is not to miss a school day.

When she was 11-years-old Malala – who lived in Pakistan then – wrote a blog under a pseudonym telling of what life was like under the rule of the Taliban. She has also received several honorary titles and recognition from prestigious educational institutions around the globe.
