Malaysian girl protested against Simbu and Anirudh

Adding to the controversy over the “beep song”, renowned music composer Ilayaraja on Thursday got into a verbal argument with a journalist in Chennai and snubbed him for asking him a question related to the song. The actor is not connected to the song in any way. Justice R Subbiah who declined to stay the operation of the summons, posted to January 5, further hearing of the petition filed by Simbu and Anirudh, challenging the summons, which required them to appear before the Race Course police on December 19.

Now, it’s just less than 24 hours before Simbu has to have appeared at the Coimbatore Police Commissionerate. Also his case against quashing the issued summons was rejected. The Chennai police seem to be cautious in preventing Simbu from getting overseas as Anirudh has been stationed in Canada, even days after his concert.

Members of Hindu Munnani filed one at Thiruthuraipoondi seeking strict action against the two.

The controversy over the “beep song”, which reportedly rendered by him headed to a next level on social networking sites, with the reports that he has fled away to secret location to escape from the arrest under non-bailable charges for rendering the song degrading the women. Reports said that his passport might be impounded to ensure that he doesn’t go overseas to evade enquiry. Sung by Silambarasan and allegedly composed by young music sensation Anirudh Ravichander, the song is being criticised for its distinctive lyrics.
