Malik Jackson deal worth up to $90 million, $42 million fully guaranteed
Jackson should help. He was general manager Dave Caldwell’s primary target in free agency since January, a month before he helped the Broncos win the Super Bowl. He’ll sign when the league year opens tomorrow.

The question, of course, is whether Jackon can sustain his 2015 production on a defense with nice pieces but hardly the dominant producers in Denver. Jackson will sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a free agent.
Jackson had 129 tackles, 14 sacks and two forced fumbles in his last three seasons. When it comes down to it, the Jaguars figure to be one of the most active teams in free agency, making significant improvements to their impressive young roster.
Regardless of who else joins the D-line, Jackson, Odrick and defensive tackle Roy Miller should be a formidable front. The Jacksonville Jaguars, in a bid to improve their struggling defense from last season, used their vast amount of salary cap space to good effect. Aging Chris Clemons and former second-round pick Andre Branch failed to pick up the slack, and it showed on the field. Their scheme is based in a 4-3 alignment, whereas Jackson made his name previous year in the 3-4 of Wade Phillips.
That may indeed be the case, as one report out of Denver has the Bears on the short list in the serious hunt for one critical, high-priced member of the Denver Broncos defense that took Super Bowl 50 away from Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.

The six-year deal is worth up to $90 million and includes $42 million guaranteed, the person said.
