A police spokesman told My San Antonio that the San Antonio Police Department worked with the Texas Attorney General’s Office to conduct a six-month investigation into Steven Sumlin, 38.

As for the women involved in the prostitution ring, Greene said San Antonio Police are considering all of them as victims. The detective gave a $300 “donation” and was taken upstairs where an escort disrobed and lied on the bed.

Those same women turned their alleged pimp over to police on Friday after an undercover police sting.

He would go to these college campuses and attempt to reach out to these females.

Authorities said Sumlin lured the women into prostitution with Internet ads and the promise of easy money or modeling.

Police said that, once the women were employed, the suspect would use intimidation to keep them working for him.

“Once he has them in his grips, that’s where he’s got them and they stay there”, Douglas Greene of the San Antonio Police Department, said.

Amber Rose took to Twitter recently to deride the use of her image warning women everywhere to be ware of tricksters impersonating her.

According to Reuters, the 38-year-old man from San Antonio allegedly ran a prostitution ring by recruiting female college students who were in need of money.
