SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP)- The man from the Berkshire county town of Adams accused of plotting a terror attack was in court again Wednesday morning for his arraignment.

To both charges, Ciccolo answered, “Not guilty”. He was indicted just one week ago in Springfield, and had been in court for a detention hearing.
Alexander Ciccolo, 23, was arrested on July 4 after illegally receiving four guns from a person working with the U.S. Justice Department, which had placed him under surveillance after his father alerted authorities to his activities.
Ciccolo’s lawyer, David Hoose, said his client denies the allegations and still faces no terrorism charges.
He also bought a pressure cooker the day before his arrest, apparently inspired by the Boston Marathon bombers who used two pressure-cooker devices to kill three people and injure more than 260 in 2013, authorities said.

Last month, officers in Boston shot Usaamah Abdullah Rahim, whom they suspected of planning to behead police officers on behalf of Islamic State. He said after court Wednesday that there have been no discussions about additional charges or a plea deal. A status conference is scheduled for September 29th.
