Williams was killed July 28 when the bus Goodman was driving from the St. Jude Deliverance Center overturned in Hancock County, about 20 miles east of Indianapolis.

Fifty-three-year-Charles Goodman of Chicago told reporters Tuesday that the bus had problems with its suspension and power steering and was overheating.
Goodman, 53, pleaded not guilty to reckless homicide, a Level 5 felony, and driving while suspended, a Class A misdemeanor.
Hancock County Prosecutor Brent Eaton says Goodman has admitted falling asleep and witnesses have said the bus was swerving in traffic before the crash. One child died and 11 other people had to be hospitalized.
Goodman left court Tuesday with his arm in a sling and his mouth wired shut as he recovered from injuries suffered in the crash.
“The bus had problems”.
After his initial court appearance Goodman spoke on camera about some of the problems the bus had and what else went wrong the day of the crash.
The driver of the church bus that crashed on Interstate 70 appeared before a judge on Tuesday. Then we went into the ravine and that’s what happened. “I’ve got proof of it at my house in Illinois”, Goodman said.
Goodman also insists he was not under the influence of narcotics and that he has a valid license.

“My license was not suspended from Illinois”.
