A man has been arrested after four women were stabbed in west London, police said.
Sandi Hillery, Head of Care at the hospice, said: “Members of staff from our nearby children’s hospice, Shooting Star House, heard some screams and rushed outside to see what was going on”.
She went to help, stemming the bleeding that was coming from her back and also helped a second of the injured women. They were attacked at Sainsbury’s in the suburb of Hampton, south-west London, on Friday.
Arriving on the scene, they discovered three women, whose ages are unknown, suffering from knife wounds.
“The vehicle park borders on to Buckingham primary school and just before it happened it was full of mums having a chat with their kids”.
“She is well-known locally and always goes shopping there all the time”. He only went for the women.
A blood-soaked jacket and first aid kit were still lying on the ground surrounded by police tape outside the Hampton and Hampton North Wards police office.
“Their conditions are not thought to be life-threatening or changing at this time”. The most seriously wounded victim was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being attacked in her home. “After stabbing the ladies, he was just walking down the road waving the knife around”.
Witnesses described seeing a man with a knife and images from the scene showed bloodstained clothes lying on the ground. They were trying to get her on a stretcher so I helped her as well because they were struggling to get her on there because she’s an elderly lady.
