Man arrested for allegedly killing his 4 kids in Dearborn Heights

The man’s two daughters, ages 4 and 6, were found dead inside the home.

In 2010, he married a woman named Faith, who had two children. Michelle Carson said Green was kind to the kids but not his wife. Despite his relatively clean record behind bars, the parole board repeatedly refused to grant him an early release.

During previous attempt to gain freedom, the man was rejected because he ‘had not shown remorse for his crime, had not gained adequate insight and had a lack of empathy, ‘ Corrections Department spokesman Chris Gautz said. ‘After being denied four times, he completed several cognitive-based programs’.

Investigators also are set to show “rare recovered artifacts” in a bid to find their owners, the notice read.

“He did fine on parole, ” Gautz said. He spent 16 years in prison.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy charged Green with four counts of first-degree murder in their deaths and one count of torture and one count of unlawful imprisonment for allegedly tying his wife up in the basement, torturing her and shooting her two children in front of her. “It’s going to bother some officers for some time”.

Dearborn Heights Mayor Dan Paletko, speaking near the home, called the killings “a tragedy in every sense of the word”. “This is still an active crime scene that is being investigated at this very moment.”. He said she is not the biological mother of the younger children. The man manipulated the tail pipe of the vehicle and killed the children with exhaust fumes.

His current wife, Faith Green, had filed for divorce twice and an order of protection, citing a “breakdown in the marriage relationship” in the recent second divorce filing.

Killed were 4-year-old Kaleigh Green, 5-year-old Koi Green along withe the man’s two stepchildren, Kara Allen, 17 and Chadney Allen, 19. Their mother was seriously injured, WDIV reports. She is in critical condition. Police have said he confessed to the killings during a 911 call.

According to authorities, Gregory V. Green called police early on Wednesday to report he had killed family members at their house in the Detroit suburb of Dearborn Heights.

“The four individuals were found by responding officers deceased at the residence”, Petri said. We are hoping to arraign him within the next day.”.

“We’re being assisted by Michigan State Police evidence techs”, Krause said.

“Other jurisdictions have also offered their support this morning”, he said.

Police have not said what the motive was.

“Our hearts go out to the family and friends”, Gavin said.

“Just two or three weeks ago, they had a birthday party, balloons and all that stuff out there”, said neighbor Ronnie Jones. “Most of the neighbors around here, they’ll wave or something”.
