NLRPD originally found the video while investigating Yancy for an unrelated burglary charge.
Yancy is facing a charge of endangering the welfare of a minor, but police say more charges could be added. Yancy, who has been charged as an adult, is being held in lieu of $2500 bond on the felony charge.
Excerpts of the video have been released of the original 11-minute recording showing Yancy giving the boy an unlit joint. “Wanna hit the blunt?” he asked the boy.

The toddler then takes a few puffs before Yancy stops him and takes his cigarette back. Authorities said he was recorded several times allowing the child to smoke the suspected marijuana, and the child refers to it as weed. The boy excitedly says, “Weed!” when handed the joint.
He can be heard saying: ‘Hey, no, that’s enough baby, that’s enough… you gonna kill yourself. He was seated in the back seat of a auto outside a Metro PCS store while smoking the joint.
After smoking the alleged joint, the three-year-old is heard coughing in the video.
The child was taken to Arkansas Children’s Hospital for a hair follicle test, but was later returned to the family.
