Man arrested in connection to investigation of missing Mo. woman
According to CBS, Runions, pictured above, was last seen leaving a party with Yust on Thursday night. He was arrested on charges of “knowingly burning” her vehicle after she disappeared, according to police.

We can only hope police find answers about Runions – and Kopetsky – soon, and that Yust finally gets what appears to be coming his way.
KSHB-TV reported Yust, who now faces no other charge in Runions’ disappearance, was being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
Beckford described their relationship as “volatile” and at some point during their nine-month relationship, he allegedly choked the teen and threatened to slit her throat.
The Kansas City Star (http://bit.ly/2ctiMui) says police reports show the 18-year-old woman won a protection order against Kylr Yust after alleging he drunkenly choked her. Yust served 120 days in jail. It wasn’t immediately clear if he had an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
Jessica’s grandmother, Linda Runions, stated that “we’re all praying every single minute’ and desperately wants to “hear that she’s okay”.
Yust was questioned in 2007 after his ex-girlfriend, then-17-year-old Kara Kopetsky also disappeared.
That’s terrible enough – especially considering Yust was in possession of Runions’ burning vehicle – but it gets worse knowing Yust’s history.
He is also the same man who dated Kara Kopetsky before she vanished in 2007.
On the night of Thursday, September 8, Jessica and her boyfriend went to a house party, but when she failed to return, her mother – Jamie Runions – reported her missing the following day. Runions’ vehicle was discovered burned and abandoned the next day in south Kansas City. Mike Mansur, a spokesman for Jackson County’s prosecutor, declined to discuss the matter, saying by email only that “the case is now under seal”.
Belton police Capt. Don Spears, an investigator in Kopetsky’s disappearance, told the AP on Monday that his department has been working with Kansas City police since Yust was arrested.
Kopetsky left behind her debit card, her checking account has not been touched and her mother, Rhonda Beckford, has rejected theories that the girl ran away, once saying “she had no reason not to come home”.
Kylr Yust has been charged in Jackson County with “knowingly burning” in connection to Jessica Runions’ case and auto. In 2013, Yust spent three years in a federal prison after pleading “guilty to a felony drug-trafficking count”.
