A 46-year-old man has been arrested in County Tyrone in connection with an investigation into a fatal shooting at a Dublin boxing match weigh-in.
He was arrested by the PSNI in Strabane yesterday.
The man was arrested by virtue of a European Arrest Warrant held by Authorities in the Republic of Ireland.
He will appear before a Belfast court in the morning, on foot of a European Arrest Warrant.
Last night, the PSNI confirmed the offences relate to the Regency Hotel shooting.
It is understood the arrest is in connection to the garda investigation into the murder of David Byrne at Regency Hotel on February 5.
David Byrne’s murder has been connected to the ongoing feud in Dublin which has so far claimed the lives of ten men.
