The Denton Police Department plans to hold a press conference Tuesday afternoon to provide more information.

MCAS officials say Johnson has not been booked to Yuma County Jail.

Investigators say Mutschlechner was fatally shot during an exchange of words between people in the vehicle she was driving and people in an SUV.

Mutschlechner was found by officers about 2 a.m. Friday in the 1700 block of North Elm Street, lying outside the sedan she had been driving.

According to a report via the dailymail, shots were fired as both vehicles drove through the intersection at West University Drive, before Johnson allegedly fired shots into his victim’s head.

ABC Sara Mutschlechner was slain in a road rage shooting after a New Year’s Eve party, authorities said.

Pursuant to the shooting, Mutschlechner, philanthropy chair of the school’s Zeta Tau Alpha chapter, was taken to hospital and placed on life support before being pronounced dead hours later on January 1.
