The story so far from Reuters:An armed man streaming with blood barricaded himself into a restaurant in Saarbruecken in southwest Germany on Sunday, a police official said.
Footage from the scene shows a police street cordon and several vehicles outside the building.
Police said the man seemed to be mentally disturbed and that there were no indications that it was a terrorism-related incident.
Staff left Dubrovnik restaurant, which was reportedly closed at the time, in panic after the man walked in and screamed “everybody out!”, the German newspaper Bild said.
Wiesbaden police also said the 43-year-old man, who was not identified, didn’t have a weapon as authorities had initially reported.
