Hudson’s bond was set at $2.5 million.

When officials arrived they found two bodies, a man and a woman, inside a trailer on a small piece of property adjacent to Hudson’s land.

Her husband and Kamp are understood to have bought the trailer they were staying in recently.

“A lot of [the victims] are family”, Taylor said.

According to the ACSO, this is the largest homicide in Anderson County history and additional charges are expected against Hudson. The department also hasn’t revealed the reason for the murders or how the victims were killed. The remaining four bodies were pulled from a pond behind the suspect’s house Monday afternoon. The victims are all from two families and related to one another, Taylor says, but aren’t related to Hudson. Carl Johnson’s wife, Cynthia, was the sole survivor.

Deputies were called to a campsite in the 800 block of County Road 2217 between the Tennessee Colony and the Harmony Community just before 7 a.m. Sunday to a possible shooting.

Carl Johnson was killed along with his daughter, Hannah Johnson, last weekend. The sheriff said he had been previously arrested for assault. No other suspects are involved.

One woman survived, police said.

Cynthia Johnson was placed in protective police custody overnight Sunday.

According to the paper, Carl and Cynthia were employees of the University of ME at Farmington and retired to Texas. Hudson was apprehended at his mom’s home, subsequent door to his property.
