Pep Guardiola is enjoying his best-ever start to a managerial job with Manchester City.

The 4-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth saw City stay top of the table after five wins out of five and ensured Guardiola retains his ideal start to life in English football.
Nacer Chadli scored twice and helped create goals for Salomon Rondon and James McClean as the hosts raced into a 4-0 lead by the 56th minute.
“That is not going to happen when I am there”, the Spaniard said.
“I have heard for a long time the Premier League is the hardest league in the world”.
“We have a lot of work (to do) and we are just in September. We have played absolutely nothing”.
“We have to know we can get better”. We had three days to prepare and when you play in the Champions League those games are so demanding.
Guardiola’s weapons: Raheem Sterling and Kevin de Bruyne ran riot against Bournemouth.
There was also a 1-1 Bundesliga draw at Freiburg in Guardiola’s opening eight fixtures with the German giants at the start of the 2013/14 season, although he did win the other six games in that spell, including a penalty shoot-out UEFA Super Cup success over Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea.
“He is a guy I don’t know too much about”.
City, however, certainly made things look straightforward as they outplayed Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium.
Kevin De Bruyne’s free kick under the wall in the 15th minute open a flurry of goals for Pep Guardiola’s side.
Guardiola’s side visit Swansea City in consecutive EFL Cup and Premier League fixtures, followed by a UEFA Champions League trip to Celtic and a tough Premier League encounter against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane in the coming weeks.
“So we are who we are and we are so, so lucky we have Kevin with us”. “To win titles or not we will see”.
“Our high pressing was not flawless today, we had problems with controlling the Bournemouth build-up, but we created a lot of counter attacks”, he said. “We didn’t allow them to play”.
“I feel overall it was a positive performance after playing away in the Champions League and away again today”, said Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, whose side drew 1-1 at Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday. Sometimes you have to pass, sometimes the first touch, sometimes control, sometimes go and every time he decides the right decision.

“But they weren’t enough”. We had our moments, we had our chances, and didn’t make the a lot of them. I was actually disappointed with our performance because I thought we could do better.
