Surveillance video from inside a hotel in Alva, OK, shows a truck an angry customer drove through the lobby after a billing dispute.

A man walks away after ramming his truck into an Alva, Oklahoma, hotel desk last week. He surrendered to police.

Parsley is being held without bond at the Wood County jail on two assault and battery with a unsafe weapon complaints and one complaint of malicious injury to property.

Moments later he flew into a rage and caused more than $100,000 (€90,885) worth of damage to the business.

FOX25 reported the two clerks told police Parsley had been rude to them as he demanded a refund.

He then drove into the lobby of the hotel. “It’s just the angel of the lord protected me”.

“He was still upset and called police while he was threatening to drive his truck through the lobby”, she said.

That is what sixty-two-year-old John Parsley is alleged to have done at Alva Comfort Inn and Suites in northwestern Oklahoma.

As Parsley was getting in the vehicle the officer told him he would go inside and talk to the manager to see what he could do to help resolve the issue.

Parsley claims he did it because the hotel staff thought he was bluffing, and he proved them he wasn’t. It’s just god’s hand.
