A man drove around 800 miles to attend the reopening of his favorite pub, Frog and Frigate pub, and journey took around 15 hours.

It was reported that the man was so fond of the pub that he when knew about the reopening of the pub, where he worked for few years, he drove around 800 miles to attend the ceremony.
The 49 year old, Des Pirkhoffer, said later that he never found any pub like this, and that’s why he wanted to be there in its reopening.
Mr. Des, who currently lives in Austria with his wife running a hotel for people on their ski holidays.
