Man faces charges for threatening to ‘off some cops’
Officials are crediting a homeless good Samaritan with possibly saving police officer’s lives after he warned of a man with a gun talking about “offing” cops at New York City’s Port Authority bus terminal.

Identified by the NY Daily News as Hunter Lee Taylor, 18, the suspect was allegedly rolling a joint in the main concourse of the bus terminal in midtown Manhattan at about 3:50 p.m. on Wednesday.
Pugh wanted a toke of the weed, and struck up a conversation with Taylor. I went over to him to ask for a cigarette, but I didn’t want any cigarette.
When two Port Authority cops walked by, Taylor told Pugh, “I should have blown their f–ing brains out”. Police said Taylor then opened his bag and showed a firearm to a witness, who alerted authorities.
Accord to Pentangelo, Taylor and Pugh-who reportedly lives in a Brooklyn homeless shelter-did not know each other prior to yesterday’s interaction. They found a. 38 caliber revolver, police said, and a small bag of what appeared to be marijuana.
