Forbes between Atwood and Oakland Avenue remained closed during rush-hour this morning.

According to reports, the man and woman reached the roof by climbing a fire escape route, when suddenly the courageous (or stupid) man made a decision to display his courage by jumping over to the next roof.

“It appeared there were three walls we had to go through, and also we had people on the roof”, said Hissrich.

As emergency personnel tried to break the unnamed man out, Pittsburgh Public Safety Officer Sonya Toler offered an update to local reporters, “He is not quite on the ground, but he is wedged between these two buildings pretty well”. A paramedic rappelled down three stories to render assistance, according to the station.

The man was freed at approximately 6 a.m. on Tuesday, four hours after falling awkwardly into the narrow, debris-filled space between the buildings.

Eventually public works brought in heavier equipment, and he was finally pulled out from behind the Qdoba with only ankle injuries and new insights into his jumping skills. “Obviously, he was there for 3 1/2 to 4 hours, so he was obviously numb”.

The Pittsburgh Public Safety Department chronicled the rescue efforts on its Twitter account. He was able to move his extremities.

“If he was doing it to impress a girl, I personally would not be impressed at all”, student Kamila Rak told CBS.

The man’s identity has not been released, which he is likely very thankful for.
