Children, adults, and people of all ages in the Christmas spirit can find enjoyment in visiting with Santa himself, or go on a carriage ride around town.

One kid believes Mother Christmas would simply get lost in the sky, you know, as women tend to do. Mrs. Hardin pointed out that the Santa House was built with donations, grants and free labor from volunteers who gave freely of their time to make it become a reality.
Of course, as I’ve said before on this blog, I don’t really think it matters if kids believe in Santa.
One of our friends has a tradition that I wish I had come up with in which Santa both gives and takes presents. Santa can play hardball too. And for myself. But I anxious about the disappointment of my children. Santa said he tries to focus most of his time on charity events.
“We will meet again in January to begin preparing for the 2016 season”, Mr. Hardin said.
I’ll always remember sneaking downstairs to sleep on the bottom step, with full view of the living room fireplace just to see if I could catch Santa Claus in the act.
“It’s just sick, I think, because Christmas is supposed to be about the lord, and we’re supposed to be about enjoying and happiness and peace and love”, Ellen Huseman said. “They don’t mind, they know daddy will be back later on”.
