On Thursday, one day before the movie became widely available in theaters, Arthur Charles Roy, an 18-year old from Helena, Montana, found out from a Facebook friend about one of the major plotlines.
According to HPD, Roy posted a photo of himself on Facebook brandishing a gun, threatening to find and harm a juvenile enrolled at the Project for Alternative Learning school. The school was placed on lockdown after students said they feared he would actually do it.
Arthur Charles Roy was charged with felony assault with a weapon.
Police said the boy, who has not been named, was fearful Roy was going to “shoot him”.
The friend called a school resource officer Thursday afternoon to report the threat. He first appeared in court Monday, was held on a $10,000 bail, and is expected to be arraigned in a state district court in January, according to Broch.
His mother asked why her son was being arrested since it was only a BB gun in the photograph he sent, the documents said.

Roy told police that he thought the girl was between 15 and 17 years told but the girl’s father told investigators that Roy knew his daughter’s age, court documents said.
