Man killed while playing ‘Pokemon Go’ at San Francisco park
Calvin Riley, a 20-year-old pitcher for Delta College in Stockton, California, was reportedly hanging out in the popular tourist destination near Fisherman’s Wharf, when an unknown person shot him in the chest. “It was just senseless, just came up and shot in the back and ran away for nothing”, John Kirby said.

Kirby said Riley and his friend had noticed someone watching them from the top of a hill that overlooks the park, but it was dark and they were mostly looking at their cellphones.
Cullivan says that the USPP asks “anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behavior in the Aquatic Park area during the 9-10pm timeframe please contact the USPP tip line (415-561-5150) with any information”.
“Then when the friend came around a corner he heard a gunshot, saw his friend fall, and whoever did it ran away and possibly got into a vehicle”, Kirby told KGO-TV. Police said the assailant did not take any of Riley’s belongings or try to rob him.
Riley’s cousin Gabriel Antonio Morales set up a GoFundMe page on Sunday to raise funds “to help Cal’s parents put him to rest with the respect, dignity, and honor that he deserves”. The page had a goal of $40,000 and had already exceeded that amount as of Monday afternoon.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our delta baseball family, Calvin Riley. “But all that was taken by a coward who wanted to shoot up a PokéStop”.
Police are still trying to figure out what happened Saturday night in San Francisco’s Ghirardelli Square, when a college baseball player was shot and killed, SFGate.com reported.

Features within the game include “Pokestops” – where users collect items they can use – and gyms, which are larger landmarks that users battle to control.
