Akhlaq’s daughter Sajida said “My father was taken outside the house and beaten to death”.
Ikhlaq’s daughter said they only had mutton in their fridge, a gift from relatives on Eid. It was goat’s meet.
“What we want is justice”, she said.

Sharma said he has also organised a meeting between the two groups in the village in view of the tension there.
