Man Of Steel 2 For George Miller? Here’s What He Just Said
For the past month or so, the rumour mill has been buzzing with talk that Mad Max: Fury Road director George Miller is set to direct a DC movie, which may or may be Man of Steel 2.

As awesome as “Mad Max: Fury Road” is, the production was tough, facing weather delays among other things, so if Miller wants to do something more “Babe: Pig In The City” in size, that makes sense.
While speaking with Digital Spy, Miller revealed rather than working on another Mad Max movie, a Furiosa spin-off, or a new installment of Big Boy Blue, Miller has opted for none of the above at the time being.
So what does that mean for those Man of Steel 2 rumors?
When asked if he’d had conversations with Warner Bros. about the “Man of Steel” followup, he explained, “There’s been a few of that in the mix, but I’d say probably not true”.
Meanwhile, George Miller also then admitted that hes always been interested in the superhero genre, particularly because the mythology behind the characters and their worlds is so similar to age-old Greek and Roman pieces of work.
He said that the Justice League movie in 2009 fell away because of Australian government regulations and tax rebates, plus the writer’s strike.

Miller directing a DC Comics film would probably be great, and I’d be happy to watch it. But let’s face it: the director is not getting any younger. He did add that it would be “interesting” to see what another standalone Superman movie would entail.
