A man has been shot dead and two police officers injured in a dramatic incident at Tullamarine.

During the altercation, police said one of the offenders pinned an officer to a brick wall with his vehicle and the policeman fired his gun.
Police say the incident began when officers challenged a group of men breaking into premises in the industrial area.
ABC reported the officer shot four times while he was pinned by the vehicle.
“There was somebody outside trying to push my door open”.
Police have not released further details of the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
The officers were taken to hospital in a stable condition, Ambulance Victoria said.
Police are yet to reveal what injuries the two officers suffered, but they have confirmed they were not shot.
Two men were arrested by police at another location after fleeing the scene.
