Shots were fired outside the baggage claim at Love Field airport in Dallas on Friday afternoon, forcing the massive transportation hub to shut down.

Media reports said vehicle traffic had been halted to the airport, which is a major centre for Southwest Airlines, a few miles from central Dallas.
Bryan Armstrong, the person who shot the video and posted it to Instagram, tells CNN that the man was shot after purportedly threatening police with a rock and refused to back away. The officer “discharged his weapon numerous times” at the suspect.
A black vehicle with smashed windows sat outside Baggage Claim 3.
There were no reports of injuries to any officers. Police shot the man when he did not comply, Armstrong said.
“It was terrifying”, she said.
Dallas police and airport officials did not immediately respond to requests for details from The Associated Press.
We have multiple crews at the scene, and will bring your more as we learn it. Dallas Police were set to provide an update on the incident shortly.
