Passengers ran for cover amid terrifying scenes at Dallas Love Field airport in Texas on Friday. The man used large rocks taken from curbside landscaping to break several windows of the vehicle, they said.

The officer told the man to “drop the rock and stop walking”, but he continued to approach the officer slowly as people came through the terminal door unaware of what was happening, Armstrong told CNN. “The man was yelling at the cops, basically saying ‘shoot me shoot me, I dare you, ‘ something to that effect”, Fonseca said.

“I crouched down on the ground”, she said.

A police officer shot and wounded a man Friday outside a Dallas airport after the man attacked a woman believed to be the mother of his children and then threatened the officer with large rocks, police said. “I didn’t know where the bullets were going”.

Spokesman Jose Torres says he doesn’t have details about what prompted an altercation at the airport Friday afternoon.
