The unfortunate Chinese Xiao Yu, from Nanjing in China, bought this amazing vehicle in $55,000 to get his hands on one of the ultra-cool bikes, which featured in the 2010 outing Tron: Legacy.
But he when went to the local authority for license, he was told that the bike had not been made by a registered manufacture, hence it couldn’t be licensed.
The disappointed buyer late said in a talk “I calculated that I’d be able to get the money back from renting it out to put on display at shows and exhibitions around the country, especially those that are sci-fi themed”.
