It was reported that the 44 year old man, Scott Kemery, soaked his car into alcohol to get rid of the bedbugs, as he said.
But soon, he lit cigarette sitting into it, which caused burning of the car.
The man inside, was immediately taken to the hospital where doctors said that he had suffered second degree of burn.
He was out of danger and recovering fast.
He said later in a talk “He said he had bedbugs in the car, and someone told him if he saturated them with alcohol, it would kill them”.
