A man was arrested on suspicion of theft – as he swallowed the $15k diamond ring and tried to escape the place before anyone notice him.

It was believe that the man, Rayhanur Choudhury, eaten the diamond ring but the staffs of jewelry shop noticed him before leaving.
The staffs soon called the police who then investigated using CCYV footage which also showed that the man had kept his hand inside his mouth to swallow the ring.
A spokesman from the department said “The process is to wait (to see if) the ring passes through the system”.
The ring wasn’t discovered in X-Ray.
