Man told officer he’d have to shoot
On Friday, a domestic disturbance at Dallas Love Field spun wildly out of control and ended with a police officer firing several shots at a man outside the terminal. Multiple shots can be heard being fired in the video.

Numerous local news outlets are hearing reports that the baggage claim area was evacuated and all TSA security lines at the airport have stopped. After initially attempting to stop the man from throwing the rocks, the woman walked off to the side of the road.
A police officer shot and wounded a man on Friday outside a Dallas airport after the man attacked a woman believed to be the mother of his children and then threatened the officer with large rocks, police said.
This story is developing.
Diamond darts around the officer, who shoots him. Travelers wait in line to go through the Transportation Security Administration checkpoint at Dallas Love Field airport on Friday, June 10, 2016, in Dallas.
When police arrived, the man was holding at least one rock and walking toward the officer, who was retreating.
Contrary to some news reports, Love Field was not shut down during the shooting, but officials said the confusion of the incident forced airport security officers to re-screen many travelers. The woman was not injured.
The airport is still operating but departing flights are delayed because all of the passengers are being re-screened. Beattie said the officer who fired the shots is a Dallas police veteran, but he would not identify him. Police Chief Randall Blankenbaker said of the suspect, who he described only as an African American.
That’s when an officer intervened and Diamond charged at him with a rock in each hand.
They say they’re working with air traffic controllers nationwide to manage inbound flights.
The man then picked up a nearby traffic cone and hurled it repeatedly into the vehicle windows.
“I crouched down on the ground”, she said.
Video posted on an Instagram account early Friday afternoon shows people scattering outside a baggage claim door as an officer in a yellow vest trains a gun toward a baggage claim entrance.

Airport officials were not immediately available for comment. “I didn’t know where the bullets were going”.
