Man travelled 1700 km to claim a lottery that doesn’t exist
An unemployed man from India traveled more than 1700 km to claim his winning prize in BBC lottery that doesn’t even exist.

The man whose name is Ratan Kumar, 41, basically from a small village of Orissa, India.
According to the report, he got a message of winning approx. 5 million dollar in a BBC lottery.
Mr. Ratan got excited and believed on this scam.
Later, fraudsters have asked him to pay the admin charge and come to their office to pick the winning amount.
He borrowed some money from his friend and moved towards the BBC office. Despite cold weather conditions, Ratan undertook the 1,700km trip in just a shirt and trousers.
But when he reached at the office in Delhi, capital of India, he got to know about the scam.
He later told to BBC, “I never felt he was trying to cheat me. I liked speaking with him, he was always very nice”.
