Man United Must Win Or Forget Title — LVG
Swansea trumped United when they competed at the Liberty Stadium in August, with a Juan Mata opener canceled out by Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis in the second half.

United have scored only 22 goals in their 19 Premier League games but Van Gaal claimed he had been given support to turn things around by his backroom team.
United’s goalless draw against Chelsea was their seventh of a troubled season and sixth at Old Trafford.
Van Gaal has blamed the Reds bad fortune for the goal dip and United have been linked with the likes of Everton’s Romelu Lukaku and Frederick Emerich Aubameyang of Borussia Dortmund.
“That is our problem (scoring goals)”, the United manager said.
Van Gaal does not have happy memories of his meetings with Swansea as United have lost to the EPL strugglers in all their previous matches under his guidance. This will undoubtedly prove to be his best season yet and Van Gaal may want a striker who guarantees more than Batshuayi can.
Van Gaal’s current contract expires in the summer of 2017 but it is believed that his stay will be cut short.
“We need to win because at the end of the season I want to be top, not middle”, Van Gaal said. This season, they are outside the top four and have been eliminated from the Champions League and Capital One Cup, the latter by Championship side Middlesbrough. That is of course much more hard when you don’t win than when you win. Maybe that is wrong but I have done it all my life.
“And you have to cope with that”.
‘You have to show it for 90 minutes against the resistance of the opponent and also under the pressure of the environment and the pressure you put yourself under.
“We can not allow the gap to grow”, said the United boss, who has lost all three of his matches against Swansea.

Swansea have been something of a bogey team for United under Louis van Gaal, and Curtis believes a strong performance from Williams at Old Trafford could send the Premier League visitors – just two points clear of the relegation zone – onto another famous result against the 20-time league champions. “It is always like that, then you continue with the same vicious circle of working”.
