“I’m excited for the season ahead“.
“He’s got the experience and he knows what it takes to win the Premier League”. It was the first chance for United fans to see The Special One at the Theatre of Dreams. They need lifting, they need a spark and someone who will keep them on the edge all the time.
The 31-year-old came close to joining Sir Alex Ferguson’s side in 2011 and again in 2012 but he eventually joined Galatasaray from Inter Milan.
“I have no doubt that he can bring trophies back to United again and that he will make them champions”.
FC’s Gab Marcotti addresses some potential concerns surrounding Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s rumoured move to Manchester United.
‘I talked to him but that does not mean that he is going to try and get me. My prediction is that it will be in the second year.
Manchester United scored just 49 league goals previous year, only one more than 17th placed Sunderland who only narrowly avoided relegation.
“I wouldn’t fancy a race with him”.
The German has now commented on the club’s appointment of former Chelsea mentor Mourinho.
“Mourinho’s CV speaks for itself. He knows how to win”, he said.
‘He has not compromised his style of football at any time – and if you don’t buy into his philosophy – then there wont be a place for you at the club.
In short, Mourinho has a real job on his hands this summer to restructure his midfield, which may involve signing one or even two players.
The Portuguese likes combative and dynamic players, which could benefit Schneiderlin and Herrera. The way things have gone for him has been incredible and hopefully his talent will be allowed to express itself at Manchester United.

Carvalho said: “I played for Chelsea and still have pride in the club, so I didn’t want to see Jose at United”.
