Manchester United are close to finalising the purchase of Paul Pogba from Juventus in a transfer worth £92m but will have to pay the player’s agent, Mino Raiola, up to £18.4m to conclude the deal.

Paul Pogba’s return to Old Trafford would be a significant U-turn for the player who on departing for Italy in 2012, was accused of “disrespecting Manchester United” by Sir Alex Ferguson.
However, Mourinho has no interest in shedding light on the situation, and the club’s supporters will have to wait a bit longer to discover whether the transfer has been sealed.
“I fully expect it to work”, Beckham told Sky Sports News HQ.
“I don’t think it is correct to speak about players of other clubs”.
The post was later removed, perhaps at the behest of Pogba, Raiola or bosses at Manchester United.

The midfielder left United as a teenager for just £800,000 so this would be a huge financial hit for a club usually famed for giving young players a chance.
Meanwhile, Pogba’s potential world record transfer to United isn’t finalised yet, the Juventus midfielder’s agent said yesterday.

“I need to change the profile of this team in relation to other dynamics and the striker will be the easy one to finish the puzzle”. I’ve spoken to him a couple of times, all the players have talked as well, we are going to be challenging for every title that we can go for this season.
