Brocksom’s estranged husband, David M. Brocksom, 43, of Kenosha, Wis., was arrested in connection with his wife’s death after he drove toward the Gurnee police parking lot Sunday evening, authorities confirmed.

It is believed Brocksom is driving a blue 2003 Dodge minivan with Wisconsin license plate No. 862TJH. “Brocksom is described as being 5’11”, 400 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

No charges have been issued against Brocksom, something Gurnee Police Deputy Chief William Meyer said is more likely to happen once the autopsy has been completed.

The court records indicate the couple had two children; police and neighbors said the children are safe and staying with family members.

Police warn not to approach Brockson, who is considered armed and unsafe, and to call 911 if he is seen.

The search has extended to northern Illinois and Wisconsin.
