The US teenager who used suction cups to scale Trump Tower, the NY home and headquarters of the Republican nominee for US president, has been charged, police said Thursday. “I just don’t know how many people will watch this”.

The climber was taken to NYC Health Plus Hospitals/Bellevue to undergo a psychiatric evaluation, according to the NYPD.
Rogata climbed as high as the 21st floor of the building Wednesday before officers grabbed him and pulled him to safety through an open window.
“I reached out, took hold of his hand and said, ‘Sir, you need to come with me, ‘” said Detective Christopher Williams, who grabbed the climber. He made it all the way to the 21st floor before the NYPD roughly dragged him inside the building (below). He was climbing for awhile, I could see he was getting exhausted. Police said they did not believe the man meant to harm anyone.

NY billionaire and real estate developer Donald Trump lives in a marble triplex at the top of the 68-story building, which is also the headquarters of his Trump Organization and election campaign. NY police arrested him after he reached the 21st floor.
The video began to go viral during and after Rogata’s ascent, and features a young man wearing a hoodie addressing Trump: “I am an independent researcher seeking a private audience with you to discuss an important matter”, he says. “I guarantee that it’s in your interest to honor this request”, he said on the video. “Believe me, if my goal was not significant, I would not risk my life pursuing it”, he says. Police have not charged the climber with anything yet, but the investigation is ongoing.
