Renowned Nigerian forensic pathologist who discovered CTE, Bennet Omalu believe that Hillary Clinton’s illness is suspicious. ‘It is possible she is being poisoned’.

Bennet Omalu, whose discovery of CTE was made famous in the 2015 movie “Concussion”, which starred Will Smith, tweeted Sunday night that he felt Clinton should undergo toxicology tests to rule the possibility out.

“I do not trust Mr. Putin and Mr. Trump”, he tweeted.

And while Omalu’s warning sounds a little far-fetched – and was treated with more than a bit of scepticism in the replies – Putin has been accused of having his adversaries poisoned in the past. Clinton’s campaign later released a statement from her doctor saying she was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday.

Following Clinton’s near-collapse in New York City on Sunday – something which her campaign attributed to pneumonia – Omalu took to Twitter to offer his own medical advice to the White House hopeful, the Washington Post reported.

“Secretary Clinton will not be traveling to California tomorrow or Tuesday”, spokesman Nick Merrill said, hours after the 68-year-old candidate abruptly left the Ground Zero memorial in NY suffering from dehydration.

Clinton’s health was thrust into the spotlight this weekend after she had to leave the 9/11 memorial ceremony at Ground Zero before it finished.

I must advise the Clinton campaign to perform toxicologic analysis of Ms. Clinton's blood. It is possible she is being poisoned,’ Bennet Omalu tweeted
