Manager: Shawty Lo killed in fiery hit-and-run crash
He was 40-years-old. “Real O.G. R.I.P. #zone1forlife”, Atlanta radio DJ Ryan Cameron wrote on Twitter Wednesday morning. He is perhaps best known for his debut single “Dey Know”. He won Rookie Of The Year at the 2008 BET Hip Hop Awards. Walker’s most recent release, “Bowen Homes Carlos”, came out in 2013.

Walker also reportedly leaves behind 11 children. The show planned to follow the lives of Shawty Lo, his baby mothers, and children around the city of Atlanta.
The Parents Television Council called the program’s concept “grotesquely irresponsible and exploitive” and pledged to contact advertisers of the show if it reached the air.
The “Dey Know” rapper was driving on I-285 when his vehicle was struck by another auto. Authorities say one person died after being ejected, and two others were transported to the hospital.
Officers told FOX 5 a 2016 white Audi lost control just before 2:30 a.m. Police said the Audi went over the guardrail, struck a tree and landed in a deep embankment, causing the vehicle to catch on fire.
Someone tweeted from the rapper’s account announcing the death.
Police cleared the scene after a fiery crash Wednesday on I-285 in south Fulton County.
