It’s been a torrid couple of months for Joe Hart but Manchester City fans believe they’ve found a use for him in Pep Guardiola’s new-looks side.

According to the BBC’s David Ormstein, the duo have made their desire to sign Hart known, although the England worldwide favours a loan move as he does not want to be rushed into making a permanent decision on his future with only two weeks remaining of the transfer window.

Sky Sports has reported that the move might be delayed because of a knee injury to Ter Stegen, though a deal remained possible before the August 31 transfer deadline.

And now, BBC’s David Ornstein has provided another update.

Everton are the favourites with most bookmakers to sign the England global, with a loan or permanent deal possible, although the Blues also face competition from Spanish side Sevilla, while city rivals Liverpool have also been alerted to Hart’s potential availability.

Hart has been told he does not figure in Guardiola’s immediate plans and, rather than sit on the bench, is ready to go on loan with Sevilla and Everton the main contenders at this stage.

“Certainly, Everton are looking to bolster their goalkeeping ranks further following the acquisition of Maarten Stekelenburg, who made a decent debut against Spurs at the weekend, but Everton are looking for an established number one and [would be] interested in someone of the calibre of Joe Hart”.

England global goalkeeper Joe Hart, who surprisingly lost his place to Willy Caballero at the weekend, will be in the squad.

City are reportedly on the verge of signing Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, which could see Hart demoted to no.3 under Pep Guardiola.
