Manchester City sign Barcelona goalkeeper
The City star’s spectacular fall from grace gathered pace on Friday as manager Pep Guardiola confirmed the status quo among his goalkeeping corps if, as is becoming increasingly likely, Hart and City fail to find a transfer away from the Etihad before the end of the month.

“It’s a situation. We’ve got a top manager that the club has wanted for a long, long time and he’s going to have his opinion on things”, Hart told BT Sport. “I know the club is building something special and I hope I can be part of many successes in the coming years”.
The Englishman has been the club’s official shot stopper for years, having made over 300 appearances for the Citizens since joining from Shrewsbury Town in 2006. “A lot of them have and a lot of them have done well, but when you are coming into a massive club like Manchester City and especially with Joe having the history of what he’s done for the club, it’s going to be very hard”.
Manchester City are prepared to pay the bulk of Joe Hart ‘s £120,000-a-week wages to help him move on.
Manchester City recruit Claudio Bravo penned an open and heartfelt farewell letter to everyone associated with Barcelona, a club who will always have a place in his heart.
Hart, 29, started City’s 1-0 Champions League second-leg qualifying victory against Steuau Bucharest on Tuesday evening, but is still expected to depart before the summer transfer window closes.
The Sunday Express state that AC Milan and Torino have expressed interest in bringing the England worldwide to Serie A as Hart looks to seal a move away from City.
The Spanish tactician is a fan of not only ball-playing center halves but also ball-playing goalkeepers, a profile that Joe Hart doesn’t seem to fit. We’re going to decide the best for Joe but for Willy and Angus as well.
Asked about Bony, Mangala and Nasri, he added: “We’re working on it”.
“I try to be honest”. They are going to be used in rotation.
“I think they are really strong. We have met one of the most powerful teams in Europe and I hope we will have a better route in the Europa League”.
“But to me, it’s all about the team, never mind just about the goalkeeper, the back-pass situation”.

“After West Ham we will continue to speak to [director of football] Txiki [Begiristain] and we are going to see what the situation is for them”.
