Sergio Aguero has agreed to a one-year contract extension that will keep him at Manchester City until 2020, according to ESPN.

“I don’t think it’s a big problem but it happened two days ago so I don’t think he’ll be able to play”, manager Pep Guardiola told reporters on Friday.
“I thought he was not ready to play 90 minutes, but he played with the quality he has”, said the City manager. “I don’t know if it is definitely going to happen but, if he stays, I will be so, so happy”.
City face Bournemouth without the suspended Aguero on Saturday looking to make it five straight wins to kick off the Premier League season, but Guardiola is taking nothing for granted despite his side’s fast start.
However, Gundogan, who made his City debut in the 4-0 midweek Champions League win over Borussia Monchengladbach after recovering from injury, is poised to start and believes his team can only get better.
“We played really good against Monchengladbach, but there are other teams that are more candidates – Barcelona, Madrid or Bayern are the type of the teams that are always there”. Guardiola said. “These are players you want to stay because they have the passion to play at the club”. We can not disguise his quality. He is considering whether Ilkay Gundogan can play two games in a week so soon after returning from a serious knee injury.
