New Inter Milan boss Frank de Boer says he admires Daley Blind but believes the Netherlands global is happy at Manchester United. Blind started Mourinho’s first competitive game in charge against AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium following speculation over his future.

Manchester United duo Daley Blind and Juan Mata are set to stay at Manchester United this summer, according to the Daily Record.
Speaking to Gazetta World, De Boer could be reunited with the 26-year-old he managed for four years in Amsterdam before the player completed a move to Louis van Gaal’s United.
De Boer is known to be a keen admirer of Blind having worked with him at Ajax.
Both players were heavily linked with moves away from Old Trafford earlier this summer, but it now seems like they won’t be going anywhere.
De Boer told member of the press: ‘We have a lot of good defenders here but we’ll see.
“But he is very happy at the Red Devils and also played the Community Shield”.
De Boer says Blind is not the only ex-Ajax player he likes to keep an eye on and watch closely.
“I know his situation and I think he’s very happy and playing with confidence, but we’ll see in the future”.
Further, Blind was impressive next to Eric Bailly in the heart of the United defence, but time will tell as to whether or not the Dutchman keeps his spot as Chris Smalling will be knocking on the door to return in the coming weeks.

Blind was one of the first players to hail the appointment of Mourinho and feels he can adapt to the philosophy imposed by the Portuguese coach. That’s something we can be proud of. Now I can make real judgements about the players.
