Manchester teams splash the cash in insane day of deals
Following Manchester United’s world-record £89m deal for Paul Pogba, and Manchester City’s heavy spending, Arsenal fans have grown restless with their lack of transfer dealings.

Pogba arrived at Manchester United’s training ground on Monday to have his medical exam, before the team confirmed the deal just after midnight on Tuesday.
The atmosphere around the club will also be important as Houllier pointed out that the Frenchman won’t be at his best week-in-week-out, therefore Manchester United would have to take care of their record signing.
“But I feel the time is right to go back to Old Trafford”, Pogba told the club’s official website. This is what you can do, better than anyone else’. “Paul is one of the best players in the world and will be a key part of the United team I want to build here for the future”.
But the Premier League’s longest-serving boss was adamant that the buying power of big teams is getting out of control, and that players are now way overpriced.
Manchester United had been linked to offers for Pogba even when Louis Van Gaal was still coach.
Eric Bailly, Henrik Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba have all joined the club ahead of this weekend’s league opener at Bournemouth on Sunday. “I didn’t finish what I started here so I think I came here to finish it”. They work hard to be in the match and they aren’t, and this is going to happen in the next two or three weeks because we have just one Premier League match.
“You’ve got to get rid of that problem and I think that’s where Jose Mourinho is at now, that’s where the club is at, with the money they’re investing in the team and the squad and the manager. First time a huge foreign star in his prime has come to England”, he wrote on Twitter.

Pogba will wear the number six shirt at United, which has been previously worn by club legends like Gary Pallister, Jaap Stam, Laurent Blanc, Rio Ferdinand, and Wes Brown.
