Manchester United 2016/17 home kit released
These new squad members along with Old Trafford returnees Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial, Juan Mata and rest of the first team will be sporting the latest Manchester United home kit just released by adidas when they kick off the new season in the coming weeks.

Designed by Adidas, it is supposed to take inspiration from the club’s early years as Newton Heath Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway FC. The kit follows the usual subtle design that United prefer with the bright red jersey and three red stripes down the side – given they’re now under Adidas – but a vertical zipper-like design down the centre is new, unexpected and surprisingly dashing. The honeycomb design that splits the two shades of red is a representation of the “worker bee” which can be seen in the club crest and originates from the Industrial Revolution.
Adidas also Tweeted about the launch of the jersey explaining the split with a fancy video featuring various Manchester United stars.
The strip, which has been spotted on sale in some countries since mid-June, was officially unveiled in on Saturday in Shanghai, as part of United’s pre-season tour of China.
