Manchester United can not afford another slow start, says Luke Shaw
Jose Mourinho is admittedly under a lot of pressure in the Premier League this season having been sacked by Chelsea last season midway through the season unable to recover from a slump of bad form.

United play Watford at Vicarage Road after defeats by Manchester City and Feyenoord.
“I don’t think it will be easy (to bounce back) but the game will be independent”. It’s been a tough week that’s for sure, but I’m certainly hopeful things will start to click and that Sunday can be the game they do.
“Obviously, when you lose matches, the mood is not the same, that’s normal”.
“The last two games we’ve played, we haven’t made the best of starts especially in the first half, and we need to change that”.
Mourinho was critical of Mazzarri’s teams on more than one occasion, but the Watford boss insists he does not hold any grudges.
“I was not saying that we are a phenomenal team and we are going to destroy every opponent”.
He said: “I always say that the best motivation you can have is your own motivation”. What he has done, I don’t know.
Even so, he could do with an influential performance from France midfielder Paul Pogba against Watford after the world record signing’s latest underwhelming performance in midweek. I like the mentality here in the United Kingdom, coaches in Italy should be more like that.
Marcus Rashford’s equaliser in the second-half failed to galvanise a United side that barely trained in preparation for their Premier League fixture after Thursday’s Europa League loss to Feyenoord.
Few would have expected such a reaction from Watford after falling 2-0 behind early on against West Ham, but Walter Mazzarri’s men showed plenty of fight and they look capable of contributing to the goals tally on home soil. “And double unlucky because he was offside”, the Portuguese said.
Mazzarri was also asked of the time Mourinho – who managed Zlatan Ibrahimovic for a year at Inter – accused his Sampdoria team of playing “anti-football”, but he responded: “I don’t remember that”.
“I have a very good relationship with Mourinho”.
“In Italy sometimes it’s a bit too much”, he said.
“There is a strong professional respect between us”. Of course I’ll invite him for a drink.
