Manchester United edge closer to Paul Pogba deal with second offer
According to The Guardian, United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward, Juventus directors Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici, along with Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola met on Wednesday.

Manchester United have thrashed out a huge financial package with Paul Pogba as his record-breaking move from Juventus inches closer by the day, the Daily Mail reports.
As part of the deal, the France international’s agent must be paid 20% of the transfer fee.
A £105million fee is thought to have been agreed between United and Juventus.
Juventus reportedly turned down that offer and are insisting on a basic fee of £101m (€120), plus a further £8m (€10m) in add-ons.
United are also apparently purchasing Pogba’s commercial rights while giving him an extra £4.2m a season to cover those costs.
Spanish newspaper Marca yesterday reported that United could complete the signing of Pogba “in the coming days”.
Real Madrid are reported to have pulled out of the race to sign Pogba due to the cost of the deal, and coach Zinedine Zidane said this week: “I am happy with the squad I have got and it’s hard to improve on it”.
The 23-year-old has been a target for United for some time now, but the English Premier League giants had to wait until Euro 2016 concluded before they could make a concrete move to bring the star back to Manchester.
It is understood Woodward could head to China for the second friendly against Manchester City in Beijing next Monday, but he did not travel for United’s clash against Borussia Dortmund in Shanghai on Friday.

The United manager, José Mourinho, has already made three additions to his squad with Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
