Manchester United fan trolls Paul Pogba over playing Europa League football
However, Mourinho feels it is a clear case of sour grapes, saying the managers who have been critical of the transfer are simply envious of United’s financial clout in the transfer market.

“This is the right club for me to achieve everything I hope to in the game”, Pogba said.
“I am delighted to rejoin United”, Pogba told Manchester United’s official website. Considering how long this transfer saga has lasted, it’s no real surprise that Pogba’s reveal in a United shirt was unconventional, but bloody hell it didn’t have to happen like this, did it?
In the aftermath, the Spaniard pledged his future to Manchester United by signing a new four year deal with wages reported to be in the region of £200,000-a-week.
His side started in the 4-2-3-1 formation during their pre-season fixtures and Community Shield win over Leicester City, but this was while Mourinho was waiting to finalise a deal for Paul Pogba.
Former Liverpool goalscorer John Aldridge has expressed his belief that Manchester United are the team to beat in the Premier League this season.
The French star left United in search of regular first-team football as an ambitious 19-year-old and has now returned to Old Trafford as the most expensive player in football history.
“I spoke with a lot of players (who played under Mourinho) when he was at Real Madrid”, Pogba said.
“This deal is a statement of intent by Manchester United after several years of under-performance”.
All seven of those were second-half substitute appearances, and he opted to leave when his contract expired after failing to establish himself in Sir Alex Ferguson’s first-team plans.
“I’m sure he can make me improve and make me a better player and a better person”.

The fact that Pogba had played for United as a teenager and was released for a pittance makes the transfer even more incredible.
